A.L.E.R.T. Ultrasound Probe for In-Flight Diagnostics
Logan Health's A.L.E.R.T. program is fundraising to acquire a two specialized Butterfly Ultrasound probes. This cutting-edge tool will enhance emergency response and save lives in our community. Ultrasound technology has become an indispensable tool in emergency medicine. This new tool will allow our A.L.E.R.T. flight nurses to quickly and more accurately assess injuries, identify internal bleeding, and make crucial decisions in real-time even during challenging conditions. Since 1975, the A.L.E.R.T. program has evolved into an elite medical and critical care transport program, with a highly-specialized flight crew. A.L.E.R.T. has responded to more than 20,000 emergency calls and saved 2,525 lives.
